LET’S TALK ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES

Do you: have a sustainable focus? Want to bring together a broad group of people? Want this group to have a fun time and even learn something new?

Whether you want them to learn a new skill (in upcycling or skating) or you want different types of people to meet each other: the focus for my events are always to have fun, to be happy and to grow.

PAST EVENTS - UPCYCLED FASHION

UPCYCLED FASHION SHOW @ CULTURA, VEENENDAAL

The Cultuurfabriek at the library in Veenendaal each year has an interesting workshop program called “de fabriek op zondag” (the factory on Sundays). So far I have attended two this far, both with a UU workshop. The first one I combined with an open Upcycled Fashion Show. Together with the help of a group of friends as models I set up a walk through fashion show with items I created and told a little bit about me and my story. 

 

 

EXHIBITION @ SCHUURMAN SCHOENEN, VEENENDAAL

As a part time job I was working for this shoe store in the centre of Veenendaal. The manager knew about my passion for sustainable fashion and my creations and wanted to give me the opportunity to show my work. I therefore decided to set up an exposition called: “circulaire stappen” (circular steps). The exposition included sustainable art pieces from my friends and my own upcycled items. This was an amazing opportunity and a lot of fun to do!

 

 

POP-UP STORE @ VEENENDAAL FOR FAIR

In the past I have worked as a volunteer for a Dutch foundation called Veenendaal for fair. Together with other volunteers and the founders we created a pop-up store for one weekend. In the store in the city centre we exhibited and sold items created for the founding and my own upcycled items.

PAST EVENTS - SKATING

MINIRAMPJAM @ POPPODIUM ASTRANT, EDE

Together with a friend we decided it was time to get together all inliners, quad skaters and skateboarders from around Ede to come together for a night full of skating, music and fun. Astrant had it’s monthly Jam Night during this evening. We intended to bring the group of skaters and musicians together, which worked out very well! We hired a miniramp, there were sponsored prizes for showing skate skills and a local skate shop sold their items on a stand. Since it was a blast, this event will happen again in june 2025!

GIRLS SKATE NIGHT @ DE SKATE CENTRALE, AMERSFOORT

During this evening the park was open to girls of all ages. We wanted to meet a specific group that was not so much represented in skateparks (getting much more nowadays!). We brought them together to get to know each other and get creative. Beside skating I did a workshop upcycling and there was a small stand with some available UU items for sale.

 

 

 

MARKET STANDS

EARTH BAZAAR @ DE HALLEN, AMSTERDAM

During the first edition of the Earth Bazaar I had a stand to present my available items. I met so many great people, other creatives and a new group of customers.

 

The second time there was a new group of creatives I had not seen before. The location is great and was very interesting since Amsterdam has a very broad range of people coming to visit. This time I also shared my stand with a creative friend who makes guitar and camera straps from second hand ties and leather.

RE&UPCYCLE FAIR @ DE KEETMOLEN, EDE

During a warm day at the national mill day I attended the re&upcycle fair at this beautiful location. I love to make my stand look like a little living room where you can come in to have a talk and view the available items. Together with other local creatives and re-sellers of sustainable products it was a beautiful day!
